THREE FORKS TRAINING - APRIL 1, 2 & 3

Training Days are closing in on us and things are shaping up well - we've got 100 pigeons and a dozen pheasants....Ducks are still a bit of a mystery.  As mentioned in the email, the site is still quite muddy, so please stay on the designated road until we get there and figure out where to park, stage things, turn around, etc..  We've got a good turn-out so far, and expecting a few more as we get closer to the event.  There are a few goals for the weekend: (not in any particular order) :

Get some quality training in for our dogs.
Become better trainers ourselves.
Have a great time.

Everyone, no matter what experience level, has insights to share and something to learn.... It should be a great weekend if we all show up ready to learn and participate.  We'll be setting up different venues in the morning.  Bring a folding chair so we can all visit each morning before we get started....We'll meet at 10:00 am on Friday and 9:00 on Saturday and Sunday to visit about what we'll be doing each day and what our hopes are for the different dogs.  We'll all get more out of the weekend if we approach it as more than just an opportunity to run our own dogs, but get to help with all the other dogs as well.  There is a good mix of both "Natural Ability" dogs and "UPT / Utility" dogs...It should make for a great weekend.

Please be mindful when running your dog(s) to train or "air them out" - Its important to keep your dog(s) within your control and perview at all times, and make sure that you are not imposing your hound on others.

So far the following people have "RSVP'd" for the event:

Steve and Rae Brown
Dawna and Jade Miller
Tony Weber
Zac Norris
Greg Bahny
Ken Wigen and Jane Melby
Tom Healy
April Ruckdaschle
John Arkins
Todd Baier
George and Celeste Mclean

It will be great to see everyone and get the season rolling............feel free to call or email with questions.
