DON'T BELIEVE THE WEATHERMAN

Remember the kid in 3rd Grade that always told lies?....The old addage is that he's the one that became the "Weatherman".  If there were ever a prime example that we shouldn't believe the weatherman, it would be the 2 Training Camps that we've pulled off so far....Both times with nasty forecasts....each having the "Weatherman" only partly correct, with more than 75% of the weather in our favor.  It was great to once again see members "Jump In" on not just setting up and cleaning up, but on helping make the various "Training Venues" work......It just goes to prove that the more we help, the more we learn.

The "Place for PlaceBoards".....If there was ever an example of how "PlaceBoards" can help translate "Training at Home in the absence of birds" to "Accelerated Learning" at a training day...It is George and Celeste Mclean's Griff Bruno....Working "steadiness" at home on a "Placeboard," we saw a dog that was pretty much "indifferent" to pigeons at the beginning of the weekend - run two sets of launchers "Steady to Wing, Shot and Fall" at the end of the weekend.....Pointing the birds from 25 feet away...  More to come on "Placeboards" and the numerous ways we can put them to work.
