A lot of folks had interest in the "Higgins-On-A-Budget" Bird Release - Also known as the "Milk Crate Release".....When released, the bird breaks on pressure from the pup..  Following are a few photos of an effective home-made release....All you need is an accomplice behind a round bale, or hiding in a brush pile.  You'll notice the one in the picture is made out of one foot long pieces of 2x6....I actually think 1 foot long pieces of 2x8 would be more effective, as it would not crowd the pigeon too much..........
